During the past 24 hours, 76 combat clashes occurred between the Defence Forces and the Russian occupiers. Russian forces lost approximately 580 soldiers, 15 artillery systems and 11 armoured fighting vehicles.
Russian shelling per day
According to the AFU General Staff, the enemy launched 16 missiles and 130 air strikes, fired 65 times by MLRS at the positions of our troops and populated areas.
At night, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine, using 27 unmanned aerial vehicles of the "Shahed" type.
All attack drones were destroyed by the air defence of Ukraine.
Over the past day, about 145 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.
During the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck 4 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.
The situation in the east in the south
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 16 enemy attacks in Terny, Yampolivka, Rozdolivka, Donetsk region, and Bilohorivka, Luhansk region.
The Defence Forces repelled five enemy attacks in the Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Donetsk regions in the direction of Bakhmut.
In the Avdiivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 20 enemy attacks in the Donetsk region's Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, and Pervomayske settlements.
In the Novopavlivskyi direction, the Defence Forces continued to hold back the enemy in the Krasnohorivka, Georhiivka, Novomykhailivka, and Vodyanyi districts of the Donetsk region. With the support of aviation, the enemy tried 24 times to break through the defences of the Ukrainian troops.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders seven times in the districts of Staromayorske, Donetsk region; Robotyne and to the west of Vervove in the Zaporizhzhia region.
One unsuccessful assault on our troops' positions on the left bank of the Dnipro river was carried out in the Kherson direction.
