General Staff Latest: AFU destroyed over thousand Russian soldiers and 51 artillery systems

January 30 turned out to be another fruitful day for Ukrainian soldiers: 1,090 occupiers were eliminated, 32 anti-aircraft missiles were destroyed, and dozens of drones were shot down.

The General Staff disclosed the details about the situation at the front on January 30-31

On January 30, 88 combat clashes took place. The Russian army carried out nine missile and 99 air strikes. Enemy carried out 129 attacks from MLRS on the positions of armed forces soldiers and peaceful settlements.

At night, the Russian invaders struck another attack, using 20 unmanned aerial vehicles of the "Shahed-136/131" type. Air defence forces were able to destroy 14 enemy drones.

As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the direction of Kupiansk, five enemy attacks were repelled near Synkivka of the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled seven soldiers of the invaders in the Terny and Yampolivka districts of the Donetsk region.

In the direction of Bakhmut, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled six enemy attacks near Bohdanivka and Klishchiivka of the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 26 attacks in the Avdiivka area and 11 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Mariinka direction, Ukrainian soldiers continued to hold back the enemy near Georgiivka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region, where 16 attacks were repelled.

The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in the Shakhtarsk and Zaporizhzhia directions.

In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces will continue to hold positions and repulse assaults by the occupying forces. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not stop trying to knock our units out of their positions. So, during the past day, the enemy carried out 15 unsuccessful assaults.

New successes of the AFU at the front

Defence forces continue to destroy not only enemy personnel but also their equipment along the entire front line.

On January 30, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck 11 areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration and two enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.

Units of the missile forces struck one area of weapons and military equipment concentration, two ammunition depots, nine artillery units and enemy enemy radar station.
