During the day, the Ukrainian military repelled numerous attacks by the criminal army of the Russian Federation in the east of Ukraine and on the left bank of the Dnipro in the Kherson region.
What is known about the AFU's successes at the front and the consequences of Russian attacks
It is noted that during the day, the Ukrainian military engaged in battle with units of the criminal army of the Russian Federation 71 times.
During the day, six attacks by Russian occupiers were repelled in the Sinkivka area near Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region.
Another ten enemy attacks were repulsed in Terny and Yampolivka districts; the Russian occupiers unsuccessfully tried to launch an offensive eight times in the Makiivka and Bilogorivka districts, trying to break through the defence of the Armed Forces with the support of aviation.
In the Bakhmut region, seven attacks by Russian war criminals near Hryhorivka, Ivanivskyi, Klishchiivka and Andriivka were repelled.
In the area of Avdiivka, the Ukrainian military stopped the enemy offensive 11 times near Avdiivka itself, in the areas of Novokalynove and Novobakhmutivka.
In addition, 13 enemy attacks were repulsed near Sieverne, Pervomaiske and Nevelske.
With the support of aviation, Russian war criminals are trying to improve their tactical position in these areas.
In the Mariinka area, the Ukrainian military repelled nine enemy attacks near Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, Mariinka, and Novomykhailivka.
One enemy attack was repulsed in the Shakhtarsk region north of Novodonetsk, where the Russian occupiers are also unsuccessfully trying to improve their tactical position.
No active hostilities by enemy groups were recorded in the Zaporizhzhia region.
During the day, six attempts of enemy attacks on the left bank of the Dnipro in the Kherson region were also repelled.
During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck seven areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration, one control point and five anti-aircraft warfare systems of the enemy. Also, Ukraine's air defence destroyed one Kh-59 air missile.
Units of missile troops damaged one personnel concentration area, two radar stations, two anti-aircraft warfare units, two artillery units and one enemy ammunition depot.
At the same time, the enemy actively uses aviation and quadrocopters of the "FPV" type and conducts assault operations with the support of armoured vehicles. The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.
During the day, the Russian occupiers fired six missiles at Ukraine, carried out 69 airstrikes and fired 35 MLRS rockets at Ukrainian military positions and civilian infrastructure objects.
As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
What is known about the situation in some regions of the front
In Volyn and Polisia's directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in the border areas with Ukraine.
In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and intelligence activities, attacks populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the districts of Fedorivka and Vovchansk of the Kharkiv region. About 30 settlements were hit by artillery and mortar fire, including Bleshnya, Karpovychi, Yelina of Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Romashkovo, Sosnivka, Sumy region; Okip, Kozacha Lopan, Gatyshche, Pletenivka, Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled six attacks near Synkivka, Kharkiv region, where the enemy tried to improve the tactical position. About ten settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, in particular, Synkivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, our defenders repelled ten attacks by the occupiers near Terny, Yampolivka of the Donetsk region and another eight attacks in Makiivka and Bilogorivka of the Luhansk region. Here, the enemy, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to break through the defence of our troops. The enemy also carried out an airstrike in the Serebryansk Forestry area of Luhansk Oblast. About 15 settlements were affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling, among them Makiivka, Nevske and Bilogorivka of the Luhansk region and Yampolivka, Torske, Serebryanka, Rozdolivka of the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the defence forces repelled seven enemy attacks in the Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka districts of the Donetsk region. About ten settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, particularly Kalynivka, Bogdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas of Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, and Avdiivka, and another 13 attacks near Sieverne, Pervomaiske and Nevelske of the Donetsk region. Here, the occupiers, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical position. About 15 settlements, including Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Berdychi, Avdiivka, and Sieverne of the Donetsk region, were hit by enemy artillery and mortar fire.
In the Mariinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the Donetsk region's Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, Mariinka, and Novomykhailivka areas. In this direction, the invaders, with the support of aviation, tried nine times to break through the defence of our troops. In addition, the enemy carried out an airstrike in the area of the village of Kostyantynivka of the Donetsk region. Krasnohorivka, Maksimilianivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, our defenders repelled an attack north of Novodonetsk, Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical position. The enemy carried out an airstrike in the Vodyane settlement of the Donetsk region. More than ten settlements, in particular, Vugledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Niva, and Staromayorske of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.
The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in Zaporozhzhia's direction. It carried out an airstrike in the Robotyne region of the Zaporizhzhia region. More than 20 settlements, including Malynivka, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Robotyne, and Pyatykhatky of the Zaporizhia region, were hit by artillery and mortar fire.
In the zone of the OSTG "Odesa" responsibility in the Kherson direction, the enemy's artillery shelled Kherson, Antonivka of the Kherson region and Dmytrivka of the Mykolaiv region. In addition, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the settlements of Chervonyi Maiak, Zmiivka, and Tyagynka of the Kherson region.
