General Staff Latest: AFU repulses 18 Russian attacks in Avdiivka direction during the day

During the day, 68 combat clashes occurred between the Ukrainian and Russian troops. The Russians attacked the most in the Avdiivka and Novopavlivske directions.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Air Force of the Defense Forces struck four areas during the day where the enemy's personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated.

At the same time, the Russian troops launched 14 missiles and 103 air strikes and carried out 45 attacks from MLRS on the positions of Ukrainian forces and populated areas.

The situation is on the front line.

In the Lyman direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 16 enemy attacks in Terny, Yampolivka, Rozdolivka, and Bilohorivka in the Donetsk region and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region.

In the direction of Bakhmut, the Defence Forces repelled five enemy attacks in Bohdanivka, Ivanivskyi, and Klishchiivka, Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 18 enemy attacks in the Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Vodyane settlements of the Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivskyi direction, the Defense Forces repelled 18 Russian attacks in the Krasnohorivka, Georhiivka, and Novomykhailivka districts of the Donetsk region.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked the positions of our defenders six times in the areas of Staromayorske in the Donetsk region, Robotyne, and to the west of Vervove in the Zaporizhzhia region.

During the day, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to storm the positions of our troops in the Kherson direction.
