In Ukraine, 92 combat clashes took place at the front during the day. The enemy shelled more than 140 settlements throughout the country with artillery.
Russian attacks
In total, the enemy carried out four missiles, 27 airstrikes and 88 MLRS attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
At night, the Russian invaders once again attacked Ukraine, using 15 unmanned aerial vehicles of the "Shahed-136/131" type. Anti-aircraft forces and means defence 12 combat UAVs were destroyed.
Airstrikes were carried out in Yablunivka, Sumy region; Veterynarne, Okhrimivka, Mala Vovcha, Pischane, Kyslivka of Kharkiv region; Oleksandropil, Vugledar, Staromayorske in the Donetsk region; Novodarivka and Robotyne of the Zaporizhzhia region.
More than 140 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
The situation at the fronts
In Volyn and Polisia's directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active diversionary activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
The enemy did not conduct offensive assaults in Kupiansk's direction.
In Lyman's direction, the Defense Forces repelled 21 attacks by the occupiers near Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Terny and Hryhorivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 12 enemy attacks near the settlements of Bohdanivka and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who does not stop trying to surround Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold the defence, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Thus, during the past day, the Defense Forces repelled 21 attacks by occupiers in the settlements of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiyivka and another eight attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske of the Donetsk region.
In Mariinka's direction, defenders continue to hold back the enemy near Georgiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region, where 20 attacks were repulsed.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, defenders repelled an enemy attack south of Zolota Nyva of the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks in the Robotynoye area and west of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In Kherson's direction, the Defense Forces continue measures to expand the bridgehead. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not stop trying to knock our units out of their positions. So, during the past day, the enemy carried out two unsuccessful assault actions.
Losses of the enemy
During the past day, the Air Force of the Defense Forces struck 13 personnel concentration areas and two enemy anti-aircraft missile systems. Ukraine's air defence destroyed one Kh-59 guided air missile.
Units of the missile forces struck two control points, two personnel concentration areas, two ammunition depots and three enemy artillery pieces.
