Over the past day, Ukrainian troops repelled 27 attacks by the criminal army of Russia in the Donetsk region, near Maryinka and Avdiivka, as well as on the left bank of the Dnipro river in the Kherson region.
What is known about successes of Armed Forces of Ukraine and consequences of today’s Russian attacks
It is noted that the Ukrainian military is repelling numerous attempts by the Russian occupiers to deprive them of a foothold on the left bank of the Dnipro river in the Kherson region.
Over the last day alone, 18 attempts of enemy attacks were repelled in this area. The enemy suffered significant losses.
Over the course of the day, the Defence Forces' aviation struck 19 enemy concentrations.
Ukrainian missile forces damaged an enemy control centre, ammunition depot, artillery unit, air defence radar and Tor surface-to-air missile system.
At the same time, during the day, Russian occupiers fired 8 missiles at Ukraine, carried out 55 air strikes and 23 anti-aircraft missile attacks on Ukrainian military positions and civilian infrastructure.
Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Private residential and apartment buildings and other infrastructure facilities have been destroyed and damaged.
What is known about situation in certain areas of frontline
In the Volyn and Polissky directions operational situation remains without significant changes. No signs of formation of enemy offensive groups were detected. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells populated areas from the territory of Russia, and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy carried out air strikes on Oleksandrivskyi, Vovchanskyi, Prykolotnyanskyi and Chuhuivskyi districts of Kharkiv region. About 15 settlements, including Kliusy, Yeline, Popivka in the Chernihiv region came under artillery and mortar fire; Znob-Novgorodske, Iskryskivshchyna, Myropilske, Hrabovske, Popivka, Ponomarenky in the Sumy region; Chervona Zorya, Kozacha Lopan, Lukyantsi, Vovchansk, Bochkove, Budarky in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyansk direction,The Defence Forces repelled three enemy attacks in the Synkivskyi, Petropavlivskyi and Ivanivskyi districts of Kharkiv region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical situation. The enemy also conducted an air strike near Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka and Berestov in the Kharkiv region.
The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in the Lyman direction. The enemy carried out air strikes in the area of Serebryanka forestry in the Luhansk region and on the settlements of Terna and Spirne in the Donetsk region. The enemy's artillery and mortar shelling affected more than 10 localities, including Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Serebryanka, Verkhnekamyanske, Spirne and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the Defense Forces repelled an enemy attack in the Klishchiivka area. The enemy launched an air strike in the vicinity of the settlement of New York. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Vasiukivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, New York in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction,our defenders repelled five enemy attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka and another nine attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical situation. The enemy also conducted an air strike near the town of Oleksandropil in the Donetsk region. About 10 localities, including Berdychi, Stepove, Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
In the Marinka direction, the defence forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka, where the enemy, supported by aviation, tried to break through the defence of our troops 5 times. Such settlements of Donetsk region as Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka and Kostyantynivka came under artillery and mortar fire.
The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in the Shakhtarsk direction. The enemy conducted an air strike near the village of Staromayorske. More than 10 settlements, including Vuhledar, Urozhaine, Staromayorske, and Rivne in the Donetsk Oblast region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the Defence Forces repelled two enemy attacks in the areas of Robotyne and south of Novodarivka, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to improve the tactical situation. The enemy conducted air strikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Pyatykhatka. More than 15 settlements, including Poltavka, Huliaypole, Charivne, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Pyatykhatky in the Zaporizhzhya region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the area of responsibility of the Odesa military formation in the Kherson sector, Tyahyntsi, Kherson, Oleksandrivka in the Kherson region as well as Kutsurub and Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region came under hostile artillery fire.
