According to Ms. Bridget Brink, the US ambassador to Ukraine, despite all the tragedy of the Russian-Ukrainian war, it enables our country to become part of the Euro-Atlantic space faster than under other conditions.

Ukraine manages to build its future even during the war

The American diplomat drew attention to the fact that Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine was a "senseless tragedy and a crime against humanity."

However, she also reminded that dark times often give people incredible development opportunities, and Ukraine was no exception.

The US ambassador stated this during her speech at the seventh Ukrainian Women's Congress: "Women's leadership. Time for restoration. Time for reconstruction" in Kyiv.

I see these opportunities for Ukraine, for all of you — this is an opportunity for transformation, which has already begun on the day of the declaration of your independence. From our point of view, this war gives you an opportunity to strengthen the movement towards integration into the Euro-Atlantic institutions, and it will be faster than under other conditions, and to consolidate these opportunities for the future of your dreams, Brigitte Brink explained.

As the US ambassador notes, every citizen should have the opportunity, ability and courage to use all their talents and skills to reach this goal.

Brink reminded of the crucial role of women in the development of Ukraine

She once again drew attention to the fact that the American people are ready to do everything possible to help Ukrainian women become an integral part of economic and political life on the way to the future chosen by the people of Ukraine.

Brigitte Brink emphasized that our country is undergoing a historical transformation right now.

We will continue to stand by you and help you make it a reality, the US ambassador concluded.
