The head of the Ministry of Education and Science, Oksen Lisovyi, confirmed the dismissal of the scandalous linguist Iryna Farions from the Lviv Polytechnic National University professor post.

What FLisovyi says about Farion's dismissal

According to the minister, people who do not respect the military have no place in the country's education system.

Lviv Polytechnic dismissed Farion. The relevant order has already been signed by the rector, Lisovyi stressed.

According to him, students have always been and will be the drivers of changes and transformations.

Lisovyi reminded the students to start the Revolution of Dignity, which finally fixed Ukraine's European integration course.

Lisovyi also noted that since 2014, thousands of students have changed their classrooms to trenches and gone to defend their state, families, and values.

In his opinion, this period in the history of Ukraine became a point of no return and launched an active process of de-Sovietization, the time for which has long come.

Today, we continue to get rid of the shadows of the Soviet past, and in the education system in particular. Thank you to each and every one of you for your concern, ability to defend and protect your values. This is a fantastic feature of Ukrainians both students and young people, Lisovyi noted.

According to Lisovoy, the ministry's position is unchanged — "people who do not share the values of dignity and do not feel respect for soldiers have no place in the education system."

He also added that he hopes that the Security Service of Ukraine will give a fair assessment of the statements and actions of the former professor of the Lviv Polytechnic within the framework of the open criminal proceedings.

What Farion herself says about her release

Release without any signature. This is something new in labor law. How very small those who work within the great walls of the Polytechnic, which at one time were consecrated with their lives by Stepan Bandera and Roman Shukhevich, Kateryna Zarytska and Ostap Mashchak, Petro Franko and Stepan Charnetsky, the scandalous linguist said.

She also reported that she is preparing a lawsuit regarding her dismissal.

To the victory, gentlemen! Everything is just beginning, because every finish is essentially a start. I am preparing a lawsuit, she emphasized.
