French leader Emmanuel Macron has officially confirmed that he has already discussed with Kyiv's partners about sending Western troops to Ukraine in the future.

Western troops can come and help AFU

After negotiations with Ukraine's allies in Paris, the French president discussed his proposal.

According to Macron, Kyiv's partners will do "everything necessary to prevent Russia from winning this war."

Everything is possible to achieve this goal, the French leader emphasized.

In addition, Emmanuel Macron added that sending Western troops to Ukraine in the future "cannot be ruled out", even though "today there is no consensus on the official, accepted and approved sending of troops".

Also, the French president did not want to reveal the names of Western leaders who supported the idea of introducing Western troops into Ukraine but admitted that it was indeed actively discussed.

Many people who say today, "Never, never," were the same people who said two years ago, "No tanks, no planes, no long-range missiles".

Macron acknowledged problems with aid to Ukraine

According to the French leader, Western politicians should admit that they often fell behind the schedule of assisting the armed forces by six to twelve months.

This was the purpose of today's discussion: everything is possible if it is useful to achieve our goal, emphasised Emmanuel Macron.

What is essential to understand is that until now, official Paris has never publicly considered the scenario of introducing Western troops into Ukraine.

Amid the meeting of representatives of Western states in Paris, the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, said that several NATO and EU member states are considering the possibility of sending soldiers to Ukraine on a bilateral basis.
