Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev panicked over British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's visit to Ukraine and even threatened London with war.

Medvedev intimidates Britain with a possible Russian attack

The Putin associate claims that Moscow is ready to declare war on London if the British deploy a military contingent in Ukraine.

Medvedev complains that British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has arrived on an official visit to the Ukrainian capital to sign a "historic security agreement".

How would the Western public react if the British delegation came under fire from cluster munitions in the centre of Kyiv, as happened to the civilians of our Belgorod (according to Russian propaganda — ed.)," the former Russian president cynically stated.

He also began to berate the British, calling them "arrogant" and "eternal enemies".

And one more thing: I hope that our eternal enemies, the arrogant British, understand that the deployment of their official military contingent in Ukraine would mean a declaration of war against our country.”

Rishi Sunak's visit to Kyiv: what is known

12 January British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak arrives in Kyiv to meet with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

As journalists have learned, the politician intends to announce the largest ever batch of drones and a new aid package for Ukraine.

Sunak will also confirm the provision of £2.5 billion (over $3 billion) in military support to Ukraine.

I am here with one message: The UK will not stand down. We will stand with Ukraine in its darkest hours and in its best times. The UK is already one of Ukraine's closest partners because we recognise that their security is our security," Sunak said.
