NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg made a statement after the Kremlin reported the death of opposition leader Alexei Navalny in a Russian colony.
Navalny's death. Stoltenberg demands answers from Putin
According to the Secretary General of NATO, he is deeply saddened and concerned by reports from Russia about the death of Alexei Navalny.
Jens Stoltenberg demands from the dictator Putin and his team to establish all the facts of the death of the oppositionist and to make them public immediately.
Russia must answer very serious questions, the NATO Secretary General stressed.
He also added that while the bloc does not have any information regarding the death of the oppositionist, that is why all the facts must be established.
We see that Russia is becoming an increasingly authoritarian state, that it has been repressing the opposition for many years... I will not speculate today. I will continue calling on the Russian Federation to establish all the facts.

According to Jens Stoltenberg, Navalny "was a powerful voice for freedom, for democracy", which is why all bloc countries have been calling for his immediate release for a long time.
