Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, after meeting with former US President Donald Trump, said that he does not plan to provide aid to Ukraine if he wins the elections.
What is known about the results of Orbán's meeting with Trump
At the same time, in an interview with Hungarian channels after meeting with Trump, Orban said that the US presidential candidate from the Republican Party supposedly has clear plans to settle the criminal war unleashed by Russia, but does not plan to finance aid to Kyiv.
Trump allegedly told Orbán that he has "detailed peacemaking plans for settling the war unleashed by Russia."
However, the Hungarian Prime Minister did not tell the content of these plans, noting only that they coincide with the position of Budapest.
But, as Orban said, if he wins the elections, Trump does not plan to support Ukraine.
Moreover, according to Orban, Trump does not plan to help Europe with defense strengthening, as the former American president himself has repeatedly stated publicly.
What is known about the reaction to Orbán's meeting with Trump
On March 9, Orban announced that he met with Trump in Florida.
After the meeting, the Hungarian Prime Minister published a complimentary post on the X social network, where he said that the world "needs leaders who can bring peace."
This meeting was criticized by US President Joe Biden.
His criticism was primarily about Trump, since he met with a European leader who aspires to a dictatorship.
