On the morning of Thursday, February 22, unknown persons opened fire on Route 1 near Jerusalem. From one to three people died, ten were injured, three terrorists were shot dead.

Three terrorists, who arrived by car, got out of it and started shooting with automatic weapons at cars standing in a traffic jam while driving towards Jerusalem on the 1st highway, the newspaper writes.

Two terrorists were shot dead at the scene of the attack, and a third terrorist who tried to escape was soon found and shot dead.

The terrorists on Route 1 were armed with two M-16 automatic rifles, a Carl Gustav submachine gun, and another pistol. One of them also had a gas grenade, the journalists added.

According to the newspaper, as a result of the terrorist attack, a 20-year-old man was killed, ten people were injured, and a 23-year-old woman is in serious condition. It should be noted that data on the number of victims differ. In social networks, they write about three dead people.
