What is the situation on the border with Poland
According to Andrii Demchenko, the spokesman of the border service, Polish protesters continue to block the movement of trucks at six checkpoints on the border with Ukraine.
According to him, the biggest queue is observed in the direction of checkpoints "Krakivets" and "Yagodin", where at the last checkpoint trucks are allowed only in the direction of Ukraine, and over the past day 70 vehicles have passed through.
He pointed out that the protesters do not block traffic for other categories of transport, including passenger cars and buses.
What is known about blocking the border of Ukraine
Since February 9, Polish farmers have been blocking checkpoints on the border of Ukraine for the passage of trucks.
These are the checkpoints: "Dorogusk - Yagodin", "Grebenne - Rava-Ruska", "Medyka - Sheghini", "Zosyn - Ustylug", "Dolgobichuv - Ughrynov", "Korchova - Krakowiec".
They demand to ban the import of Ukrainian agricultural products and for Poland to abandon the European Green Deal.
During this time, they dumped Ukrainian crops 5 times from freight cars onto the tracks or from trucks onto the roads.
Since March 1, the Sheghini checkpoint has been completely blocked.
