Poland and its allies took to the skies on February 7 in connection with the launch of Russian missiles on the territory of Ukraine. Poland used military protocol to protect the sky.
The Russian missile could fly into Poland
It should be noted that on the morning of February 7, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces warned about the movement of a Russian cruise missile in the Lviv region towards the Polish border.
At the same time, the Operational Command of Poland reported the departure of its and allied aircraft.
It is probably about the aviation of other NATO members.
They emphasized that Polish and allied aircraft were involved, which could cause increased noise levels, especially in the country's southeastern part.
Air defence forces downed 29 missiles and 15 drones
In a massive missile attack this morning, Russia launched 64 air strikes. Defence forces shot down 44 of them.
The enemy used:
20 combat UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type (Chauda — Crimea)
29 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles from 10 Tu-95MS strategic aircraft (launch area — Engels and Caspian Sea);
Four Kh-22 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 bombers (Sevastopol and Kursk launch area);
Three Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles from carriers in the Black Sea (launch area — Novorossiysk);
three "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles (launched from Cape Tarkhankut in Crimea, Voronezh Region of Russia.);
five S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles (launch area — Belgorod Region, Russia).
Managed to knock down:
26 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles;
three Kalibr cruise missiles;
15 combat UAVs of the "Shahed-136/131" type.
