The President of Moldova, Maya Sandu, arrived in Kyiv on Tuesday for a visit that was not announced before.
Maya Sandu arrived in Kyiv
On the Day of Dignity and Freedom, Sandu and the Zelenskyy couple honoured the memory of activists who died during the Revolution of Dignity.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska, together with Maya Sandu, installed lamps to the cross on the Alley of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred in Kyiv.
They also paid tribute to the memory of fallen activists near their portraits. Bells were rung in honour of the fallen participants of the Revolution of Dignity.
On her Twitter (X), Sandu noted that she had arrived in Kyiv for meetings with Zelenskyy and the President of the European Council, Charles Michel. Michel's visit has not yet been officially announced.
German Defense Minister Pistorius arrived in Kyiv
It is noted that Pistorius arrived in Ukraine with an unannounced visit by train early in the morning. The German Minister of Defense is expected to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umierov and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The German Ministry of Defense noted that the minister wants to confirm Germany's support for Ukraine with his visit.
So, among the main topics of the trip are Ukrainian military training and military aid. In addition to political discussions, the head of the German Defense Ministry plans to visit the training centre of the Ukrainian military
