But Donald Trump did not mention anything directly about Navalny in the post, which his campaign called the official response to the death of the opposition figure.
Instead, the ex-US president published dozens of posts on various topics, actively commenting on his criminal cases and denouncing other politicians.
Also, Liz Cheney points out that when Trump, for example, promised retaliation, what Putin did to Navalny "is what retaliation looks like in a country where the leader is not subject to the rule of law."
