The head of the US State Department, Antony Blinken, announced the defeat of the Kremlin dictator and war criminal Vladimir Putin in the war he started against Ukraine.

Blinken declares Putin's defeat in Ukraine

The head of the State Department stressed that the Kremlin dictator's plans for Ukraine have already been destroyed, as he failed to destroy the Ukrainian identity or seize all of the country's territories.

Blinken stressed that Ukrainians have already done the impossible and defended their sovereignty in a battle against one of the world's most powerful armies.

I agree with Putin on one thing — American assistance is critical for Ukraine, the Secretary of State said.

He added that Washington has developed a clear plan for the further recovery of Ukraine.

So that it can strengthen economically and militarily on its own and exist without the current level of support, the head of the State Department explained.

In addition, Blinken assured that the United States will continue to rally countries around the world to "support Ukraine's freedom and independence and ensure that Russian aggression remains a strategic failure".

What is known about amount of military aid needed by Ukraine to prevail over Russia

According to analysts at the Estonian Ministry of Defence, in order to maintain firepower over the criminals from the Russian army, the Ukrainian military needs to receive at least 200,000 artillery shells from its Western partners.

In particular, representatives of the Estonian Ministry of Defence noted that out of the one million 155 mm artillery shells promised by the EU leadership, Ukraine has received only about 300,000.

In addition, the United States has sent more than 2 million 155mm rounds in addition to 1 million rounds of other calibres.

The Estonian military claims that the 155mm artillery shells used by Ukraine are better than the Russian 152mm ones: they have a higher rate of fire and better accuracy.

The Estonian Ministry of Defence estimates that the annual requirement for artillery ammunition to maintain Ukraine's local firepower over Russia should be 200,000 rounds per month.

That is, 2.4 million rounds of ammunition per year, but this amount will exhaust all European and American stockpiles only by 2024.
