According to local Telegram channels, the Russian air defence system was activated directly over the city and the Belgorod district.

The authorities declare the destruction of eight air targets on the approach to the city.

Operational services are clarifying information about the consequences of the land.

According to preliminary data, the driver died as a result of the crash into the passenger car. The emergency line also received a complaint about 2 injured women and one man. Ambulance teams went to the scene.

In addition, it is emphasised that in Belgorod, there is damage in two private houses and on the territory of one of the health care facilities — the roof has been breached, and the 5th and 6th floors of the building have been damaged.

One car was also damaged.

What is happening in the Belgorod and Kursk regions

On the morning of Mar. 12, Russian volunteers fighting on the side of Ukraine broke into the territory of Russian Kursk and Belgorod regions — the Legion "Freedom of Russia" (LFR), the "Russian Volunteer Corps" (RVC) and Siberian Battalion (SibBat).

They immediately engaged in battle with the Russian soldiers and drove the latter out of the settlement of Tyotkino.

In addition, the soldiers destroyed a lot of enemy equipment.

On Mar. 13, the LFR, RVC and SibBat called on the local authorities of Kursk and Belgorod regions to evacuate civilians.

Every day dozens of ordinary innocent people (mostly women and children) die from shelling from Belgorod. The shelling of Ukraine from the territory of Belgorod must stop! — said in a joint statement of the fighters.

Later, the Russian volunteers announced that they intended to reach Moscow.
