Russia massively shelled Selydove: one person died, seven injured

On the night of February 8, the Russian army shelled the city of Selydove and the Donetsk region seven times. One person died, and seven were injured, including a child.

At 00:30 on February 8, Russian troops launched a massive rocket attack on Selydove. The residential building, where apartment buildings are located alongside the private sector, once again came under fire from the occupiers.

As a result of the Russian attack on a peaceful city, seven civilians were injured — 5 women aged 18 to 88, a 51-year-old man and a 6-year-old boy.

They were taken to the hospital with explosive injuries and bruises. In addition, the child was diagnosed with a cut wound on the head.

Six victims were outside their homes, and one of the women, who worked as a watchman and was in the office, was unblocked from under the rubble of the destroyed administrative building.

In addition, several residential buildings and educational institutions were damaged at the sites of enemy rocket hits, the type of which is currently being determined. Some of them were utterly mutilated.

What is known about the shelling of populated areas in the Donetsk region

It was recently reported that the Russian army has been regularly striking Mirnograd in the Donetsk region for more than two weeks. As a result of another shelling, the school was destroyed.

Later, the Russian Federation struck the city of Pokrovsk. As a result of the shelling, the roller shutter gate in the garage of the fire department was damaged by the blast wave.

The Russian army also shelled Toretsk on February 4. One person died, two were injured.
