The Russian army transfers part of its forces from the Avdiivka direction to the Bakhmut direction. In particular, it is noted that military equipment was noticed near Bakhmut, and outdated Russian equipment was not there before.

Which direction was the transfer of Russian army forces recorded?

Chief of Artillery Staff of the 4th "Rubizh" Ukraine's National Guard Brigade, Major Denys Nagornyi, told about it. Such Russian actions indicate the redistribution of enemy forces from specific directions.

According to Nagorny, in the area of responsibility of the 4th "Rubizh" Brigade, the use of artillery by the Russians has recently intensified.

It can be concluded that the Russian military is transferring its forces here after they used them in the Avdiivka direction. The Russian army is concentrating some of its main efforts on such directions as Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka Heights, directly in the direction of Chasiv Yar. We see an increase in the use of tactical and unmanned aircraft, he said.

Nagorny added that the Russian occupiers could use Bakhmut as one of the logistics chains. The enemy can concentrate its primary efforts on Lyman or Kupiansk's directions or use Bakhmut as a diversionary strike.

The Russian military will most likely concentrate its forces in the Bakhmut direction for the start of the Chasiv Yar operation forprimaryr offensive operations. This can be learned from the number of usage aerial and guided aerial bomb deployments, as was the case in Avdiivka, where the Russian military used 200 guided aerial bombs per day, the military said.

What the Ukrainian military say

According to the deputy commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade Maksym Zhorin, the critical direction of the occupying army of the Russian Federation after the capture of Avdiivka will be Lastochkyne.

The enemy in the Avdiivka direction has enough forces and means to advance further. And they will do it.

He emphasised that the 3rd Assault Brigade currently occupies defensive lines with other Armed Forces units around Avdiivka.

The intensity of the fighting is high, but certainly not as fierce as it was in the city. The main destination for Russians today is Lastochkine. We are clearly aware that in the city itself the "russkies" have enough forces for further offensive, — Zhorin explains.
