The enemy, once again disregarding the rules and customs of war, captured and shot our soldiers. According to the information of the OSTG "Tavria" commander, Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the Russian occupiers in the Zaporizhzhia region are using poisonous substances against the Ukrainian military.
Tarnavskyi noted that the occupiers reduced aviation use but continued to carry out attacks and shelling from artillery.
In the operational area of the OSTG "Tavria", the enemy has reduced aviation activity over the past day — it carried out only two airstrikes, but conducted 42 combat engagements and fired 1,040 artillery barrages. In particular, both in the Zaporizhzhia region and in Donetsk region, the Russians resumed the use of poisonous substances: a total of four drops of grenades with a tear-reducing and suffocating chemical substance were recorded, Tarnavskyi notes.
He emphasised that the enemy is trying to attack with small assault groups in the Avdiivka region of Donetsk region.
Over the past day, the Ukrainian military repelled nine attacks near Lastochkyne, Seeverne, Pervomaiske and Nevelske.
In the Mariinka direction, we continue to hold back the aggressor near Georhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka, where 21 attacks were repulsed. On the Novopavlivskdirection, the enemy tried to attack one time in the area of the village of Staromayorske, — Tarnavskyi notes.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, he noted, there were no significant changes — the Defence Forces repelled 11 attacks by invaders near Malynivka and Robotyne.
The situation remains under control, Ukrainian soldiers are firmly on the defensive and actively destroy the enemy. Thus, the total losses of the Russians of the past era were: personnel — 644 people, weapons and military equipment — 47 units, not including UAVs. In particular, these are two tanks, 29 APVs, eight artillery systems and eight vehicles. 272 UAVs of various types were neutralised or destroyed, the OSTG "Tavria" commander emphasised.
Also, the Defence Forces of Ukraine destroyed two ammo warehouses, one fuel depot, and one enemy facility.
