Russian Volunteer Corps was preparing an operation "December" for Navalny's release: details

RVC

The Russian Volunteer Corps legionnaires said they had been developing a plan to free Alexei Navalny from correctional colony No. 6 and transport him to the border with Ukraine since the beginning of October 2023, together with supporters from among the Russian secret services employees.

RVC was preparing to rescue Navalny

At the border with Ukraine, according to the RVC, Navalny was to be handed over to the RVC intelligence group for evacuation to the Ukraine territory.

An RVC partisan group had to implement most of the plan.

According to the plan, we were supposed to repulse Alexei Navalny near the convoy on the way to Correctional Centre No.3 (CC №3) in the Yamalo-Nenets district by the forces of our group, and then, together with him, we were to immediately go to the border area with Ukraine, meet with the Red Cross scout group to cross the border and obtain asylum , — says the partisan unit's commander.

However, the date and time of Navalny's phasing were postponed several times, and as a result, it was carried out suddenly, so the RVC group did not have time to advance to the area of the planned start of the operation.

On the date of Oleksiy Navalny's death, the plan was in the process of being revised under CC №3. The RVC shared some data and photo materials they received during the preparation.

Russia's Federal Service of Corrections employees also received remote access to the colony's video surveillance cameras.

The RVC noted that it had published this information for several purposes:

1) The dogs of the regime should know that the Russian Volunteer Corps has long arms. We know and can do a lot, and our resources grow daily. Many of those who work in the system share our ideals and vision of the future, which means that they will help us selflessly, and it will not work to intimidate them.

2) Unfortunately, we did not have time to save Alexei [Navalny], but hundreds of political prisoners and prisoners of conscience remain in captivity. We believe and work to get them out of the clutches of the regime one way or another.

3) Perhaps these and other data that are in our hands will be able to help other organizations fighting against the criminal regime of the Kremlin. We are ready for cooperation.
