On the night of March 11-12, seven Russian regions were attacked by drones. It is known about fires at two oil depots.
Drones attacked Russia
The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation traditionally declares that all drones have been shot down. According to him, 25 drones were shot down over the territories of Moscow, Leningrad, Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Tula and Oryol regions.
At the same time, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, announced the attack of drones on the Kstovsk industrial zone, namely on the facility of the fuel and energy complex.
A fire was recorded at one of the oil processing facilities.
Russian Telegram channels report a fire at the Lukoil oil depot in the city of Kstovo.
In the Oryol region, a drone attack on the fuel and energy complex facility is announced. There were no casualties.
In the Belgorod region, they said that there is damage to the power transmission line. Seven settlements remained without electricity.
No damage or casualties were reported in Voronezh, Kursk, Moscow, Bryansk and Leningrad regions.
Drone attacks on Russia: what is known
On Mar. 10, the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, said that an air defense system was allegedly operating in Kursk, and a "Ukrainian drone" "fell and caught fire" on the territory of the oil depot.
The mass media also write that a powerful fire broke out on a gas pipeline near the village of Lykhma in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District.
On Mar. 8, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, accused the Ukrainian military of an alleged drone attack on the outskirts of the village of Rizdvyanka.
The Russians reported that as a result of the drone attack, two people were killed, and the third was seriously injured. Construction machinery was also damaged as a result of the UAV attack.
