According to the ISW team, Russian soldiers are increasingly confusing their own drones with Ukrainian ones and are actively destroying them in the occupied part of the Kherson region.

Russian soldiers continue to destroy their equipment at the front

According to Ukrainian military observer Kostyantyn Mashovets, the activity of Ukrainian drones is so widespread on the left bank of the Dnipro that the Russian army group "Dniepr" has begun to notify personnel about when Russian drones will operate in their area.

This is primarily due to the fact that Russian soldiers increasingly confuse their own drones with Ukrainian ones and open fire on them. As of January 13, Ukrainian forces are holding positions on the eastern (left) bank of the Kherson region, but no confirmed changes have been recorded in this area.

In addition, it is emphasised that the AFU and Russian soldiers continued positional battles on the eastern bank, particularly in and near Krynky.

As Kostiantyn Mashovets reports, the command of the Russian 17th Tank Regiment (70th Motorized Rifle Division, 18th Combined Arms Army) has been doing everything possible for the past two weeks to remove damaged Russian armoured vehicles from the battlefield near Krynky.

It is known that full-time repair personnel and combat personnel are involved in this process.

Russian troops again attacked Ukrainian civilians in the Kherson region

According to the data of Kherson RMA, on January 13, six more Ukrainian civilians were injured by the strikes of the Russian army.

Over the last 24 hours, the enemy carried out 103 attacks, firing 406 shells from mortars, artillery, MLRS, tanks, drones and aircraft.

In addition, it is emphasised that the enemy hit 28 times on Kherson.

It is also indicated that the Russian soldiers hit the residential quarters settlements of the region and the port infrastructure.
