Russia's army shelled a hospital in Kherson, three medics were injured

On January 24, Russian troops shelled the center of Kherson, hitting a hospital. Three medics and a civilian woman were injured.

Russia attacked a hospital in Kherson

At around 12:45, enemy troops once again shelled the centre of Kherson.

The prosecutor's office reports that three employees of the medical institution were injured as a result of the attack. A woman from the town was also taken to the hospital with multiple shrapnel wounds.

The hospital windows were broken, and the employees' offices were also damaged.

The prosecutor's office started a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on violating the laws and customs of war (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The situation in the Kherson region

Russia carried out 101 shellings, firing 524 shells from mortars, artillery, anti-aircraft systems, tanks, UAVs and aircraft for 24 hours.

The enemy fired 26 shells at the city of Kherson.

The Russian military aimed at the residential quarters of the populated areas of the region, preschool educational institutions, and factory territory in Beryslav.

Five people were killed, and six more were injured by the Russian attack.

On the evening of January 23, the Russian Federation struck a residential building in the village of Shlyakhove. During the rescue operation, the dead woman's body was retrieved from the rubble.

A 47-year-old resident died in Beryslav. In the evening, the occupiers dropped a guided aerial bomb on the house in which he was staying.

In the village of Sablukivka, a Russian aircraft hit a residential building. A man and a woman died.

A 70-year-old man was fatally wounded near the entrance of a house in Kherson in Korabelny district.
