The head of Russian diplomacy, Sergei Lavrov, complains that the European Union has already developed "recommendations" for Ukraine to receive long-range weapons so that the Armed Forces would be able to strike deep into the Russian Federation.

The Kremlin is nervous about long-range weapons for Ukraine

According to the scandalous Russian diplomat, his team somehow ended up with data on the plans of official Brussels.

According to our data, the EU has drawn up recommendations for Ukraine — it is necessary to bet on the supply of long-range weapons to "get to the heart of Russia".

He also added that the European Union seems to haveconcludedn that Ukraine will not be able to win the war with the available weapons.

Putin's henchman once again complained, in the spirit of Russian propaganda, that the West is "using" Ukraine to contain Russia, inflict a strategic defeat on it and prevent Moscow from playing the role on the world stage that it supposedly has a right to.

Can Ukraine get even more long-range missiles?

Recently, journalists learned that official London offered Germany an option to deal with Berlin's reluctance to give Ukraine Taurus long-range cruise missiles.

According to them, the plan is that the German authorities will transfer their Taurus to Britain, and in return it will transfer additional long-range Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine.

It is said that this proposal was passed on by London to Berlin a few weeks ago, but no further decisions in this direction have been reported.

Chancellor Olaf Scholz's team declined to comment on the report.

It is essential to understand that obtaining Taurus missiles with a range of up to 500 kilometres has been actively discussed since the summer of last year. However, there is still no final decision on this issue.
