The Russian MFA spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, began to get hysterical because of Ecuador's plans to provide military aid to Ukraine.

What is known about Ecuador's plans to provide military aid to Ukraine

The government of Ecuador plans to transfer a batch of military equipment to the United States, which will then be transferred to Ukraine by Washington.

In her characteristic hysterical manner, the spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation condemned this decision.

Last month, Ecuador's government said it would accept a $200 million offer from Washington to exchange old military equipment for modern U.S. equipment.

The United States has said that weapons it will receive from Ecuador will be sent to Ukraine to help bolster its forces on the battlefield against Russia.

According to Zakharov, the Ecuadorian authorities allegedly made decisions under pressure from the United States.

Such an imprudent decision was made by the Ecuadorian side under serious pressure from external interested parties, — the Russian MFA spokeswoman of the aggressor country declares.

She added that the partners of the Russian Federation are well aware of the provisions of the contracts, which allegedly provide for the obligation to use the supplied equipment for the stated purpose and not to transfer it to a third party without obtaining the appropriate consent of the Russian side.

The Ecuadorian authorities said that the Russian Federation did not recommend replacing the equipment, but they believed they had the right to do so.

What Ecuador plans to transfer to Ukraine

The Ecuadorian government does not disclose the details of military aid to Ukraine. However, the country's army is armed with Soviet equipment, in particular:
