Again, we appeal to the residents of the Kurshchyna and Belgorod regions! Your leadership has not taken any measures for your protection or evacuation, and the shelling of peaceful cities and villages of Ukraine continues as before! We are forced to return fire on military facilities in the border regions! Evacuate immediately!

In addition, the RVC commented on the shelling of Belgorod, which took place on the morning of Mar. 14.

According to Russian volunteers, a Russian soldier died in the car that exploded as a result of the attack.

A military man, Dmytry Alekseyevich Golyshkin, born Dec. 6, 1997, died in a car that was fired upon in Belgorod. We call on all civilians to evacuate the city or go to a bomb shelter. Save the lives of yourself and your loved ones, says the RVC statement.

What is happening in the Belgorod and Kursk regions

On the morning of Mar. 12, Russian volunteers fighting on the side of Ukraine broke into Russian Kurshchyna and Belgorod region territory — the Legion "Freedom of Russia" (LFR), the "Russian Volunteer Corps" (RVC), and the Siberian Battalion (SibBat).

They immediately engaged in battle with the Russian soldiers and drove the latter out of the settlement of Tyotkino.

In addition, the soldiers destroyed a lot of enemy equipment.

On Mar. 13, the LFR, RVC and SibBat called on the local authorities of Kursk and Belgorod region to evacuate civilians.

Every day dozens of ordinary innocent people (mostly women and children) die from shelling from Belgorod. The shelling of Ukraine from the territory of Belgorod must stop! — said in a joint statement of the fighters.

Later, the Russian volunteers announced that they intended to reach Moscow.
