The drones of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) attacked two oil refineries in Russia at once. It is about the Ilsky and Afipsky refineries in the Krasnodar Territory.

What is known about the SSU drone attack on the refinery in Russia

According to sources, a major fire broke out at the Ilya Refinery, affecting the primary processing plant, which has a capacity of 3.6 million tons annually. Without it, the enemy cannot produce diesel fuel for military needs.

The price of such an installation is about $50 million.

At the Afipskyi plant, drones also worked well, but the consequences are being clarified.

Both objects are located about 20 km from each other. According to local publications, the Russians were even forced to raise planes into the sky, but this did not help to protect important refineries.

Such factories are completely legitimate goals. They not only work for the defense industry and provide fuel for the Russian troops, but are important for the economy of the Russian Federation. Because Russia is a Goliath standing on oil legs. We systematically cut them. And we will continue to do this in the future until Goliath falls, — notes Liga.net publication.

The Russians announced a massive drone attack

The Russian Ministry of Defence announced that on the night of February 9, it allegedly intercepted and destroyed 19 Ukrainian drones in four regions of the Russian Federation and over the Black Sea.

It is reported that the UAVs were allegedly destroyed over the territories of the Kursk (2), Bryansk (5) and Oryol (4) regions, the Krasnodar Territory (2) and the Black Sea (6).

According to the governor of the Oryol region, drones allegedly attacked the facilities of the fuel and energy complex in this region, but they were reportedly destroyed.

Klychkov said that there were no victims, but at the same time added that "in order to ensure security, law enforcement officers are taking the necessary measures."
