What is known about the SBU attack on the oil refinery in Volgograd

According to the sources, two drones hit the primary oil processing plant, without which the plant would lose a significant part of its production capacity.

The SBU continues to systematically destroy the infrastructure that Russia uses to wage war in Ukraine. By hitting oil refineries that work for the Russian military-industrial complex, we not only cut off the logistics of fuel supplies for enemy equipment, but also reduce the filling of the Russian budget, the source reports.

What is important to understand is that "LUKOIL-Volgogradnaftoperobka" LLC is the largest producer of petroleum products in the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation.

In addition, it is known that the capacity of the refinery reaches 14.8 million tons.

For the past 30 years, this plant has been a 100% subsidiary of PJSC LUKOIL

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced a mass drone attack on January 30.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that 21 drones were allegedly shot down, including 11 over Crimea, 5 over Belgorod Oblast, 3 over Bryansk, and one each over Kaluga and Tula Oblasts.

The governor of the Kaluga region, Vladyslav Shapsha, reported that the wreckage of the drone fell on the roof of a non-residential building on the outskirts of Kaluga.

Earlier on January 21, an explosion occurred near the oil terminal of the Sea Trade Port in the village of Ust-Luga, Leningrad Region. Residents of the nearest cities located near the port reported the sounds of drones flying by, and a fire started.

About 150 people had to be evacuated from the enterprise. Later it turned out that this special operation was carried out by the SBU.

Also late in the evening on January 20, explosions rang out in Tula, Russia. The Russians said that a drone was allegedly shot down there. However, a video showing the "arrival" was published online.

Later it became known that this was the planned work of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
