The new German party "Sarah Wagenknecht's Alliance" is becoming more and more popular in the country and can already claim to enter the Bundestag.

The party "Putin's friend" is increasing ratings in Germany

These data confirm the results of a poll by the Insa Institute for Bild am Sonntag.

According to the opinion poll, "Sarah Wagenknecht's Alliance" (BSW) has every chance of gaining 7% of the votes in the federal elections.

What is important to understand is that the newly formed political force was able to overtake the coalition Free Democratic Party by 3 percentage points, which in the Insa trend fell below the five percent mark for the first time since 2015 and reached only 4%.

The left would also not overcome the passage barrier with 4%. The CDU/CSU conservatives remain the most popular party with 31%, and Chancellor Olaf Scholz's SPD with 14%. As last week, the Greens gained 13%, Alternative for Germany lost one point to 21%.

Sara Wagenknecht's connections with Putin and the Russian Federation. What is known

Sarah Wagenknecht has repeatedly publicly called on the German government to open talks with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to stop the war in Ukraine.

Despite this, she continues to deny that she sympathizes with the Kremlin and that her party is pro-Putin, and also emphasized that she "of course" condemns the war in Ukraine.

The politician also cynically claimed that she sees nothing wrong with cooperation with Russia, and does not believe that military aid to Ukraine will help "end the war."

Olaf Scholz continues to lose influence on the German political scene

According to sociologists, if Germans could elect a chancellor directly, opposition leader Friedrich Merz (CDU) would be far ahead of incumbent Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) with 28 percent and 21 percent of the vote, respectively.

Also important to understand, Mertz gained two points from the last poll three weeks ago, while Scholz lost two points.

46% would not choose any of the candidates. 70% of voters are dissatisfied with the work of Scholz, and 76% are dissatisfied with the work of the coalition (satisfied: 22 percent and 17 percent, respectively).
