Reports of the complete occupation by Russian troops of the village of Lastochkine, west of Avdiivka, are premature.

The official comment is as follows: in the Avdiyiv direction, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine withdrew to the western outskirts of Lastochkine settlement, where they took up prepared defensive positions. Fierce battles are ongoing, the enemy is constantly using guided air bombs and artillery, said Captain Lykhovii.

The day before, on February 24, a number of sources, in particular the DeepState channel, informed about the capture of the village of Lastochkine by the Russian occupiers of the Ocheretyn community of the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region. Before the war, this village had a population of 617 people.
Responding to questions about the operational situation in other settlements in the zone of the "Tavria" SDF, in particular in Robotyn in Zaporizhzhia, the spokesman of the group said: "The enemy is trying to penetrate and gain a foothold within the boundaries of the village of Robotin in the Zaporizhzhia direction. And the same in the areas of several settlements in Donetsk region. The battle line is dynamic. Fierce fighting continues.
The enemy does not stop trying to attack with the support of artillery, aviation and strike UAVs and does not spare its personnel. In some places, the enemy delivers its landing force with armored vehicles to the borders of populated areas, but these assault groups are successively destroyed by our troops. Thus, the total losses of Russian troops in the operational zone of the "Tavria" anti-aircraft missile defense system over the past day amounted to 284 people.
The words "the battle line is dynamic" stand for the sweat and blood of many of our soldiers, sergeants and officers, who these days are heroically holding the front in our operational zone in Donetsk region and Zaporizhzhia region, Lykhova added.
