Today, in the morning of January 23, Russia massively attacked Ukraine with missiles from strategic aviation. Kyiv and Kharkiv came under attack, it is known about the injured and the dead, there were fires and destruction in the cities.

The injured toll after Russian missile strikes has increased in Kyiv

At this moment, 18 people have been injured in Kyiv as a result of a Russian missile attack. 13 of them are hospitalised, including three children. A thirteen-year-old boy and four adults were treated by medics on the spot. One woman was sent to the intensive care unit and continues to receive intensive care. Currently, the victim is alive.

Several buildings were damaged in Kyiv's Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynsky and Pecherskyi districts. Emergency services are on site.

Balconies from the ground to the 4th floor of a residential building and four apartments were damaged due to falling debris in Svyatoshynskyi district. In another building, an unexploded warhead of a missile was discovered — the residents of the building were evacuated—also, a non-residential two-story building caught fire in Sviatoshyn district. Cars were on fire at another address.

In the Solomyanskyi district, the windows of an apartment building were blown out by an explosive wave. In addition, several apartments caught fire. A two-story non-residential building was also destroyed.

In the Pecherskyi district, a fire broke out due to hitting a non-residential building. During the liquidation of the consequences of the shelling, one victim was found.

In the Darnytskyi district, several places where debris fell were recorded, particularly on the roof of a 9-story residential building — without catching fire and near the territory of a kindergarten — also without further burning.

The injured toll after Russian missile strikes has also increased in Kharkiv

Thirty-five people were injured as a result of the strikes in Kharkiv. The data is updated. Doctors continue to assist.

Among them are two children aged 10 and 12.

Two women aged 56 and 40, unfortunately, died.

The occupiers struck exclusively at civilian infrastructure: destroyed residential buildings and civilian cars. Another act of terrorism!  — the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Syniegubov wrote.
