Ukraine would have won the war faster if it had received permission to strike on Russian territory with British and other Western weapons.

How Ukraine could speed up the victory

As the commander of the Naval Forces of Ukraine, Vice-Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, said, the sooner the Armed Forces get the necessary combat potential and certain capabilities to destroy infrastructure facilities of the Russian Federation, the sooner we will win.

According to Neizhpapa, if Ukraine had greater opportunities in the issue of weapons, the war would have unfolded differently.

If Ukraine had certain types of long-range weapons that can be used deeper in the enemy's territory, of course, the enemy would behave differently, including on the battlefield, - added the vice admiral.

Also, the commander of the Navy emphasized that the enemy, knowing the combat capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, accordingly "reacts to our actions."

Putin is behaving like a petty gangster who knows that if he is answered blow for blow, then he will not start a fight... If he realizes that Ukraine can fight back and make him really feel the pain, of course he will stop all this, - said Neizhpapa.

What is the situation at sea?

It is worth noting that Russia uses the Black and Azov seas for its military purposes. Currently, the Sea of Azov is completely under the control of the Russian Federation.

Russia's dominance in the Black Sea was reduced after the liberation of Zmiiny Island. After Moscow's withdrawal from the "grain agreement", civil shipping was again under threat. However, it is possible to break through the Russian blockade of the Black Sea. Civilian ships with Ukrainian grain began to leave the ports of Odesa region.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, announced that Ukraine would receive warships to protect ships that would pass through the "grain corridor".

Earlier, the commander of the Navy stated that ships flying the flag of the Russian Navy would be legal targets for Ukraine, even if they are anywhere in the world's oceans.
