Drone debris fell on residential building following Russia's attack on Poltava region

On the night of 21 December, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with attack drones. The wreckage of a suspected enemy UAV fell on a residential building in the Myrhorod district of Poltava region.

The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration (RMA), Pylyp Pronin, said that, according to preliminary information, no one was injured as a result of falling debris.

In the morning, a special commission will arrive at the site to record the damage. Homeowners will receive financial assistance.

Air alert in Ukraine on December 20

On the evening of 20 December, the Russian occupiers launched several groups of attack drones.

Air defence forces in Dnipro region (in the Kryvyi Rih and Dnipro districts) have already shot down two drones.

Air defence forces also destroyed two enemy Shahed UAVs in the sky over the Sumy region.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that enemy UAVs were moving from Vinnytsia region to Khmelnytskyi region with a movement vector towards Starokostyantyniv. The air defence forces are also operating in the Kyiv region.

Also, at 20:48, a large-scale air alert was announced in Ukraine due to the take-off of a Russian MiG-31K fighter jet that could fire Kinzhal hypersonic missiles.
