RVC fighter sacrificed himself to save comrades near Avdiivka: details

Russian Volunteer Corps

Fierce fighting continues in the Avdiivka direction. The Russian occupiers are throwing more and more forces to capture the city. One of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC) soldiers had to sacrifice his life to save his brothers on this front.

What is known about the feat of the RVC soldier near Avdiivka

The Russian Volunteer Corps is once again paying the highest price for freedom, loyalty and honour. A RVC fighter gives his life not for abstract ideals, but for his friends and comrades, for the freedom of the Ukrainian land and for the Light of Russia, which we will surely build. The Russian Volunteers go into eternity young and determined, but the bright memory of them and their exploits will remain with us forever, says the RVC official statement.

According to the Corps press service, during the hellish battles in the Avdiivka direction, the RVC fighter, at the cost of his own life, covered the departure of his comrades and performed a real feat, allowing the group to retreat and gain a foothold on the frontiers.

The warrior died the way a true warrior likes to die — with a weapon in his hands, bravely looking death in the face. Soon we will tell in detail about the hero himself and about the fierce battles in which he stood to his death, covering his comrades. On the Shield! — writes the RVC team.

"The White Moth is Done!" Why is it necessary to watch a documentary about the RVC?

On January 26, the video production of the Ukrainian media Online.UA presented the documentary film "The White Moth is Done!" about the "Russian Volunteer Corps" (RVC).

In this film, the RVC soldiers explain why they are fighting, what their attitude is towards Ukraine, and how they plan to win the war against Putin's Russia.

What is essential to understand is that since the summer of 2022, the RVC has been fighting on Ukraine's side in the Avdiivka, Lyman and Zaporizhzhia directions.

Moreover, as is known, the corps conducted many raids in the border regions of the Russian Federation to eliminate FSB agents, enemy equipment and personnel.

The authors of the film "The White Moth is Done!" aimed to highlight the ideology of the RVC fighters and investigate the motivation that led them to the Corps ranks as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
