At a diplomatic forum in Antalya, Turkey, the head of the Slovak MFA Yurii Blanar held a meeting with the head of the Kremlin's diplomacy Serhiy Lavrov and shook hands with the latter.

What is known about Blanar's meeting with Lavrov and Prime Minister Fico's reaction

In particular, the photo of a friendly handshake was published by the Foreign Ministry of the aggressor country.

According to the information of Actuality, the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, commented on Blanar's meeting with Lavrov and noted that it is allegedly an example of "our balanced and sovereign Slovak foreign policy on all sides of the world meeting."

I knew about this meeting, I fully recommended him to meet with the Russian minister, - added Fico.

It is noted that during the meeting Blanar and Lavrov discussed the likely results of the peace summit in Switzerland.

At the same time, representatives of the Slovak opposition said that Blanar in this way put Slovakia on the same level as Iran, North Korea, China or Hungary, calling it "a betrayal of our foreign policy orientation."

In addition to Blanar, Lavrov also met with representatives of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Eswatini.

Lavrov reacted to the audio recording discussing the attack on the Crimean bridge

In comments to the audio recording, which was leaked online by Russian propagandists on March 1, Lavrov said that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz allegedly wants to approve the transfer of long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine, but to place responsibility for this on the USA and Great Britain.

They definitely want to deceive everyone so that they think not of them, but of the Americans and the British, since they are already there. This, in general, is a blatant self-exposure, - Lavrov said.
