It is noted that the representatives of the Senate considered amendments to the draft law on aid to Ukraine and Israel and held a procedural vote on the final vote.
The package includes $60 billion for Ukraine, $14 billion in security assistance to Israel, $9 billion in humanitarian aid for Gaza, the West Bank and Ukraine, and $4.8 billion in support for allies in the Indo-Pacific region, including Taiwan.

Former US President Donald Trump criticized the draft law on the allocation of $95 billion in aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.
In his opinion, the United States should not give out money, but only borrow.

At the same time, the former US president notes that appropriate loans can be provided to partner countries on extremely favorable terms.
They can be borrowed on extremely favorable terms - for example, without interest and for an unlimited period, but still - borrow. The agreement should be (on the condition!) that the US helps you as a country, but if this country that we help ever turns against us or becomes rich in the future, the loan will have to be repaid and the money will go back to the US, explains Trump.
