A large-scale Russian missile attack caused human casualties in Kharkiv and Khmelnytskyi regions. So, in the city of Zmiiv in the Kharkiv region, a woman's body was found under the rubble of a house. The Khmelnytskyi RMA reported two deaths as a result of Russian missiles' hit.
Three people died after the large-scale missile attack by the Russian Federation
On the morning of January 8, the Russian Federation launched another attack on peaceful Ukrainian cities. It became known about three dead.
The deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Oleksiy Kuleba, reported this on Telegram.
Later, Oleg Syniegubov, the head of the Kharkiv RMA, informed about the dead woman, whose body was retrieved by rescuers from under the rubble of a house in Zmiiv.
Unfortunately, a 63-year-old woman, who was unblocked from under the rubble of a house in Zmiiv, died. According to detailed information, a 63-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman were unblocked from under the rubble. Another 88-year-old man was given first aid.
The Khmelnytskyi RMA was informed about the consequences of Russian missile attacks on the territory of the region.
This morning, during an air alert, our air defense forces shot down two cruise missiles within the Khmelnytskyi region. At the same time, the enemy attacked infrastructure facilities in the region. There is a fire, which is localised by the State Emergency Service units.
Unfortunately, two people also died in Khmelnytskyi.
Air Force shot down 10 Russian missiles in Western Ukraine
On the morning of January 8, the main direction of the Russian missile strike was the Khmelnytsky region.
The "West" Air Command of the AFU Air Force reported this information.
In the morning, the enemy launched strategic aircraft into the air — Tu-95MS bombers, which arrived at the launch zone and launched X-101/X-555 air-to-surface cruise missiles. The main direction of the attack is the Khmelnytskyi region!
The anti-aircraft defence forces and means of the "West" Air Command destroyed ten enemy cruise missiles along the route of their movement.
Air missile units, aviation and mobile fire groups are involved in repelling the air attack.
