According to the MFA chief of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, the military and political reset announced recently by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will not affect Kyiv's relations with its international partners.
Kuleba urges Ukrainians not to be afraid of a power reset
"I don't think that any changes in the government can affect our relations with our partners," said the head of Ukraine's diplomacy.
Dmytro Kuleba draws attention to the fact that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy has the constitutional right to dismiss the head of the army if he deems it necessary.
It is also crucial for Ukrainians to understand that any changes should not be seen as a sign of a split in our country's military efforts.
We may discuss tactics within the team, but we are all united around our strategic goal — defeating Russia in Ukraine and restoring Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty. And there is no debate about this strategic goal.

What Zelenskyy said about the "reset" in power
In the last few weeks, many international and Ukrainian media have been actively writing that the head of state, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, intends to fire AFU Commander-in-Chief General Valeii Zaluzhnyi.
The president officially confirmed that he is considering the possibility of a "reboot" to replace several high-ranking officials.
In addition, it was emphasised that the "reboot" will go beyond the military sphere.
When we talk about this, I mean the rotation of a whole range of government leaders, not just in one sector like the military. I am thinking about this replacement (Zaluzhnyi — ed.), but it cannot be said that here we have replaced one person... If we want to win, we must push everyone in the same direction, convinced of victory, we cannot lose heart, give up, we must have the right positive energies... Zelenskyy said at the time.
