On February 2, the Save Ukraine team returned four Ukrainian children from the territories temporarily occupied by Russia.

Return of abducted children

The NGO Save Ukraine reports that four more children from the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions have been returned to Ukraine.

Children from 0 to 16 years old. All of them are now safe in one of our centers.

It is noted here that the 15th rescue mission is currently underway. To date, the foundation has already returned 235 children from the occupation and territory of Russia to Ukraine.

The Save Ukraine founder talked about the fund's work

In an interview with Online.UA, the NGO Save Ukraine founder Mykola Kuleba said that Save Ukraine is not the only fund working on the return of children, but they probably returned the most children.

Our foundation has already returned almost 230 children who were abducted and forcibly relocated from the occupied territories to the territory of Russia. By the way, 64 children out of these almost 230 are orphans who were either abducted or forcibly displaced, or were placed in family-based care or foster care, or under guardianship. That is, we can provide these statistics.

We do not know today how many thousands of children live in the occupied territories, because this number does not exist. But we can talk about approximate data, how many children were lost in 10 years. It is lost, because today they are growing up like Russians. They have come to terms, many of them have already grown up... They have become adults who were formed either in the occupation or on the territory of Russia. This figure reaches about 20 thousand.
