How the Air Force comments on the new attack on Crimea

On February 1, Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat said that Ukrainian aviation attacked the Belbek air base in the occupied Crimea, where the military equipment of the invaders is located.

He also urged to wait for satellite photos and intelligence data to assess the scale of the attack.

The Russian presence in Crimea is becoming lesser and lesser. This is not the first time it happens. Our tactical aviation pilots are "cleaning" Crimea from the Russians, Yuriy Ignat said.

He officially confirmed the attack on the Belbek air base, where the 204th Tactical Aviation Brigade was based.

Yesterday there was damage to certain objects. There is different information about the consequences, but we have to wait for satellite images and confirmation from our intelligence about which objects were affected. I really want more valuable equipment to be disabled, Ignat emphasised.
