Ukraine already has substantive cooperation with Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, and Qatar — Zelenskyy

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

We continue to work with the countries of the Middle East and the Gulf. The situation in this region is of global importance, and this is reflected in world markets, in the cost of living in all countries without exception, as well as in technological challenges that cannot be left without an adequate response. War makes weapons more dangerous. Our goal is more common security.

According to him, as of today, Ukraine already has substantive cooperation with Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, and Qatar. Work with Jordan is ongoing, as well as communication with Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iraq.

Our military expertise is already delivering results. Our interceptors are already delivering results. We already have several long-term agreements on cooperation and mutual reinforcement and are preparing new solutions.

In this context, he noted that Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov reported today on planned work with Turkey and some other states that have significant potential.

Zelensky also recalled the similarity of the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and the Black Sea.

"The blocking of normal navigation in the Strait of Hormuz is actually the same challenge that we in Ukraine faced in 2022, when Russia tried to block our ports and access to the sea, only on a more dangerous scale. No nation should be left alone with terrorist attacks," the head of state noted, thanking everyone who does not waste time, coordinates and develops formats for reliably guaranteeing common security.
