In a comment to NTA journalists, Dykyi noted that since last summer, Ukraine's Western partners were forced to make a compromise and categorically forbade the Ukrainian military to use their weapons for strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation.
However, no one can prevent Ukraine from striking the deep Russian rear with weapons of its production.
It is from this that the history of the development of Ukrainian long-range drones began, Yevgen Dykyi notes.
According to him, examples of recent successful attacks are strikes on Belgorod, strikes by Ukrainian Beaver drones on Moscow, damaged ships of the Black Sea Fleet and destroyed oil terminal in Novorossiysk.

Thus, as Dykyi emphasises, Ukraine managed to move the war to the territory of the Russian Federation.
Of course, you want more means that will allow you to strike the enemy more effectively. So far, the only long-range means are Ukrainian-developed drones, which we are actively improving. Therefore, there are no points left in the Black Sea that we do not reach. But in the depths of Russia itself, on dry land, we still do not reach everywhere, the veteran emphasises.
According to him, many teams in Ukraine are currently working in two directions — increasing the radius of damage and improving the hitting accuracy.
Even if the allies do not change their position this year, even then we should expect a lot of explosions from Russia. During the year, the Ukrainians gained a lot of experience and the systems are being improved. We do not even hide our immediate goals — we are currently interested in the Russian defense industry. We are going to make some adjustments to their production plans. And what exactly, and how soon we will be able to do it, we will look after the fact, the military man notes.
