On the Day of the Diplomatic Service of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed Ukrainian diplomats and outlined the state's foreign policy goals for the coming year.
Zelenskyy named the foreign policy goals of Ukraine for the next year
According to Zelenskyy, among the priorities is the work to strengthen Ukraine's defence support.
In addition, active cooperation with the European Union should continue, namely, the development of a negotiation framework and beginning of full integration with the EU in all areas.
Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of maximally filling the content of each defence coalition within the framework of the "Ramstein" format and in other formats that strengthen the capabilities of soldiers and the stability of the state.
Likewise, according to Zelenskyy, sanctions against Russia for the war against Ukraine should be constantly strengthened.
Zelenskyy also noted the importance of working with partners to find, freeze and confiscate Russian assets for the benefit of Ukraine.
The President drew attention to the issues of development and increased the number of long-term support programs for Ukraine, which are some of the keys to the stability of our country during the war. He also emphasized the development of defence production.
Zelenskyy noted the importance of ensuring the continuation of sea exports, implementing the "Grain from Ukraine" humanitarian program, and developing cooperation with Latin America, Africa, and Arab and Asian countries in general.
According to the President, work on the Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine should continue at various levels. "As for NATO, it is not easy. And we need a key to the decision on the Alliance for Ukraine. And this key must be sought not only in high political offices. We need to convince society — as we were able to do at the beginning of the war regarding the unification around Ukraine Convince people's hearts," he emphasized.
Representatives of Ukraine should also pay maximum attention to the work on the Ukrainian "peace formula", Zelenskyy said.
