On January 11, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Latvia after visiting Estonia and Lithuania.

Among the president's plans is a discussion of bilateral cooperation between Latvia and Ukraine and issues of support in the fight against Russian aggression and Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration.
After the official ceremony of the meeting in the Riga Castle, a meeting of the delegations of Zelenskyy and Latvian President Edgars Rinkevičs will take place. A joint press conference is planned after the meeting.
The Latvian MFA chief Krishjanis Karinsh met the Ukrainian president at the Riga airport.
Zelenskyy's visit to Estonia and Lithuania
On January 10, Zelenskyy made his first foreign visit in 2024 — to Lithuania.
The Ukrainian delegation reached agreements on joint defence production in Vilnius. The President of Ukraine met with his Lithuanian counterpart, Gitanas Nausieda.
Zelenskyy met with the Estonian PM Kaja Kallas in Tallinn. They discussed Estonia's initiatives regarding defence support to Ukraine: creating artillery and an IT coalition and launching the Tallinn Mechanism to strengthen cyber support to Ukraine.
