Thanks to the evidence base of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), the abbot of the church of the Dnipropetrovsk diocese of the UOC (MP), who supported the aggressive war against Ukraine, ran an actual prison term.

The UOC (MP) cleric in the Dnipropetrovsk region received a prison term

During his sermons, he justified the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation and the seizure of part of the territory of Ukraine.

Also, during personal conversations with the parishioners, the cleric convinced them to go to Russia or to the temporarily occupied regions of our country to help the Russians.

At the same time, the archpriest expected the capture of the Dnipropetrovsk region, which he repeatedly expressed during communication with residents.

The SSU employees documented the crimes of the person involved, and in September 2022, they detained him in his apartment.

During the searches, mobile phones were seized from the detainee, which he used to impose Kremlin propaganda.
