Oleksandr Galiy, one of the first to cooperate with the occupiers of the Russian Federation, was liquidated in the temporarily occupied Berdyansk of the Zaporizhzhia region.

What is known about the liquidation of a collaborator

It notes that in Berdyansk on February 10, local businessman and collaborator Oleksandr Galiy, who was one of the first to cooperate with the Russian invaders, died suddenly.

The Berdyansk City Military Administration (CMA) states that before the full-scale invasion, this person was engaged in entrepreneurial activities:

Before the full-scale war, Galiy was engaged in processing garbage and selling tobacco products, and after the occupation of Berdyansk, he changed his activities somewhat — he helped the Russians to clean up the business and property of Berdyansk residents, while simultaneously reporting to the occupying authorities about Ukrainian patriots, the post says.

What is the situation in Berdyansk

Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia region, is located on the shores of the Sea of Azov. Russian troops occupied the city in February 2022.

After that, the occupiers decided to make the city a military base for their needs. As a result of the work of our military, or partisans, there are regular explosions in Berdyansk.

For example, in October, nine Russian helicopters, an air defense installation, and an ammunition warehouse were destroyed as a result of our soldiers' attack on the airfields of the occupiers in Luhansk and Berdyansk.

Also, the Russian invaders used Berdyansk for their military purposes, particularly the port. In addition, the accommodation of occupants is often recorded at recreation centers.
