A powerful fire broke out at an oil depot in Klintsy of the Bryansk region. The Russians announced an alleged drone attack.

What is known about fire in the Bryansk region

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that a UAV was allegedly destroyed in the Bryansk region on the night of January 19. Ukraine was traditionally blamed.

At the same time, the governor of the region, Aleksandr Bogomaz, wrote that there was allegedly an attempt to attack objects on the territory of the city of Klintsy. Bogomaz claims that EW eliminated the drone, but he managed to drop the ammunition on the territory of the oil depot.

According to him, the tanks caught fire, and there were no casualties.

However, the footage of a severe fire at an oil depot has been published online. The fire is accompanied by smoke.

Attack on an oil depot in St. Petersburg

On January 18, the Russians announced an attempted attack on an oil depot in St. Petersburg. Sources in the special services confirmed the attack, saying it was a successful special operation of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

It is about an attack on the oil and gas company "Petersburg Oil Terminal". This is the largest Russian oil product transhipment terminal in the Baltic region.

According to Russian media, the drone wreckage fell on the open territory of one of the elevator platforms of the port between tanks with fuel oil. After the drone explosion, it caused a fire. The burning area was 130 square meters.
